The brief
The CUHK Jockey Club Pain Relief Project for the Seniors, run by CUHK's Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, wanted exercise to feel like play. We built 痛亦有樂, a VR game on a mobile app: players pick an exercise, such as leg lifts, and motion sensors turn each movement into progress, like a plant that grows taller with every squeeze.
