The course
Children do not just hear about AI here; they take it apart. The course explains what a language model is actually doing, from examples they already know, and then every child writes a character for a device of their own and hears it answer differently. The devices are set up on our Ztoa Edu platform.
Three parts
- Part A — what AI is. Learning from examples, seventy years in one slide, the model as a next-word guesser, why it gets things wrong, how to ask well, how its memory works and what must never be said to it, and the five steps from speaking to being answered.
- Part B — hands-on. Each child says hello to the device, picks a character and hears its personality change; then groups of two to four design their own AI teammate: name, role, speaking style and rules.
- Part C — what it is for. AI can make a hundred drawings, but people decide what it should make; the class ends by reading three rules together, each followed by "why?".
The three rules
Don't believe it all. Keep it private. A teammate, not a cheat.
