The programme
Lingnan University's Office of Student Affairs runs this practical robotics-AI programme for undergraduates. Ztoa Group is one of the co-organisers, alongside Entrepreneurs Academy, UBTECH, RoboGen and EDU. It is taught in Cantonese.
What students learn
Students learn to deploy lightweight AI models directly onto embedded robotic hardware so that the robot can make decisions in real time.
- Session 1: AI in robots, and obstacle avoidance.
- Session 2: Real-time decisions and model efficiency.
- Session 3: Practical integration.
- Session 4: A group project presentation.
The first two sessions run at Hong Kong Science Park and include company visits; the last two are on campus. The programme runs over four Saturdays in October 2026.

Current undergraduates of any discipline and year of study with an interest in AI and robotics.
