The book
Through a boy's everyday life with his AI roommate, the book explains how a language model guesses the next word, why it can be confidently wrong, why its memory empties, and what must never be told to it.
Why a picture book
The teaching materials run on two lines: a picture book for children, and a prompt library for teachers and parents. Both cover the same ideas, so that after a lesson a parent can pick up the conversation at the dinner table and a teacher has something to build on next time. The book is also used in the ESP32 workshop.
